I am an experienced English illustrator. I set out to create illustrations invoking a strong sense of place, developing layers of subtle texture with watercolour, pastels, ink and digital techniques. In addition I am a qualified garden designer, having trained and studied at the Chelsea Physic gardens, and have been able to incorporate this experience, along with my passion for horticulture, into my garden plans and plant illustrations. I have worked with Monty Don, Joe Swift, Toby Buckland and Rachel De Thame on a variety of projects including The Queens Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
"Scott has created illustrations for me for about 9 years now and they are still one of my favourite things about the look of Sunday Times Travel Magazine.
One of my favourite things at work is seeing an illustration arrive in my inbox and wondering what Scott has come up with this time. I'm yet to be disappointed.
I know that I can always rely on Scott to produce innovative, accurate illustrations which is such a boon for a busy art director. He always produces really great
work on time, often before deadline, and is a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend him highly enough."
